A debt free lifestyle, without martyrdom is about things that are much more fundamental then actual cash. I'm always frustrated by the fact that I earn a good salary, don't feel that I'm extravagant, and yet I'm not building my savings the way I would like to. This article has good tips and the comments are wonderful.

Crackle nails and the dividing line

Back to my real job today, what a grind. I'd much rather be categorizing my posts, projects and ideas.  Isn't it funny how much we have to categorize our interests and compartmentalize our personalities? I didn't take off my 'New Year's Eve' manicure before work and attracted several comments from co-workers!  I can't say I don't enjoy the attention but I do worry that people take me less seriously when I have crackle and glitter on my nails!

The trick is to find the right dividing line, and to make sure I can be all the things I need to be for myself, while still being a good mom, wife, daughter and finally productive member of society.

I've run out of time to take the nail polish off before work - so it looks like I'll be pushing the line again tomorrow.

Getting started

Just getting started with the blog. I have a lot of ideas, but none of them have been fully realized. The hardest part is focus! What should I focus on? Arts and Crafts? Fantasy novels, Comic Con, Steampunk, oddities, movies and music -they all interest me!
